I’m Karina González del Solar and I’m fifteen years old. I’m from Cordoba (Argentina). I think that English is a very important language in all the world and I like it a lot. In my school I have English and my teacher suggested a reader called “Treasure Island”.

The book is about pirates that fought because they wanted to find a treasure. My pirates wanted to find an important treasure but they didn’t know how to get there. Jim, who was the boy who told the story, found the map and was invited to the island. He is the main character. There were a lot of pirates and some of them were very bad and killed many men.

I like Jim, because he is very adventurous, clever and brave. He is a very good person and he wants to help people all the time. He has a very nice story to tell where he shows how exiting his life has become.

I like the first part of the story when Captain Bill arrived at the inn and Jim’s father had to carry the heavy wooden chest to captain’s room. When I read this part I felt curiosity to know what was inside the chest. I wanted to go on reading to see what was going to happen.
